State-of-the-art dental equipment combined with the latest technologies and a gentle, skilled dentist makes orthodontic treatment and corrective dentistry a breeze.
Beautiful and Healthy Teeth
Sometimes teeth need a little help to create the beautiful smile you deserve. Orthodontic treatment may be used for purely aesthetic reasons or it can be used for practical reasons such as correcting a bite (occlusion). An improper bite can lead to accelerated wear and tear of the teeth, as well as painful chewing and headaches. Dr. Mansour offers conventional orthodontics or Invisalign correction for children and adults.
Traditional Braces
Today’s braces are more comfortable than ever before. Newer materials apply a constant, gentle force to move teeth and usually require fewer adjustments.
Braces consist of small metal or tooth-colored brackets cemented to your teeth, connected by a wire. Periodic appointments are made where the dentist or orthodontist will tighten them to gradually shift your teeth and jaw. Orthodontic treatment often begins between ages 8 and 14 but can be performed on healthy teeth of any age. Treatment generally lasts between one and three years with a follow-up period where a retainer is required to hold teeth in their new position.
Invisalign
Invisalign clear aligners are removable and virtually invisible – there are no wires and brackets, so you don’t need to change the way you brush and floss. Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and even rotating them when needed. Your aligners are engineered to use the right amount of force in the right place at the right time. They are custom-made for you so they fig snuggly over your teeth and are virtually invisible. When you change to the next set of aligners (typically every week) your teeth gradually move into position, following a custom treatment plan mapped out by Dr Mansour.
