What Age Child Should I Buy For?
We suggest purchasing toys for children up to age 12 BUT toys and gifts for older pre-teen and teenage children are also accepted.
Is There A List Of Toys I Should Choose From To Buy?
Toys for Tots does not publish a list of appropriate toys to donate. If they did, most buyers would follow it and there would be a limited selection of items to distribute. Instead, purchase what would be considered an appropriate gift for your own child or relative for your donation.
Pre-teens and teens are a bit harder to buy for, a few suggestions are offered: sporting equipment/bags/balls; books, backpacks, cosmetics, purses, watch/wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards/helmets, curling irons, hair straighteners, and hair dryers.
Our annual Toys for Tots donation drive ends at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 12th. Please drop off off your toy during regular office hours. Or consider shipping it directly to our office by December 11th to make certain it arrives in time.
As our way of thanking those who support this great cause, all those who donate will be entered to win tickets to see the Detroit Pistons when they take on the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, January 11th at 7 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
